NEW PRODUCT: GluteGuard

Taken as a single tablet ahead of a meal, the product works by breaking down gluten peptides before they can damage the intestinal lining.

A majority (87%) of people in Canada living with gluten-related disorders report experiencing an instance of accidental gluten consumption at least once a year.

In response, Glutagen, an Australia-based biopharmaceutical company, has released its GluteGuard® across Canada to help support individuals with heightened gluten sensitivities, including those with celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity.

GluteGuard® is the first clinically proven product available in Canada that is specifically designed to help proactively protect against accidental gluten ingestion.

"Inadvertent gluten consumption is a regular challenge, even for those who are vigilant," said Carolina Repacci, Assistant Brand Manager for GluteGuard®.

Taken as a single tablet ahead of a meal, GluteGuard® works by breaking down gluten peptides before they can damage the intestinal lining. This is accomplished through its main ingredient, caricain, a natural enzyme derived from the papaya fruit.

GluteGuard® is available for purchase across Canada and online.

Consult a healthcare provider prior to using GluteGuard® if you're allergic to latex or fruits such as papaya.

The listed MSRP is for the 10-tablet packet. For the 30-tablet format, the MSRP is $39.99.
